Quartz composite is a material particularly suitable for interior design, for interior and exterior cladding of modern and refined domestic and public environments. Its aesthetic yield is optimal also used together with traditional natural stone. Printed in sheets of 305 x 140 cm, with a thickness of 2 - 3 cm, it has very peculiar technical characteristics and is also suitable for the processing of design kitchen tops. It is obtained by mixing together quartz, silica sand and colored pigments. The dough is then vibrocompattato with a special vacuum process, to ensure its compactness. Harder than a granite, with an almost non-existent water absorption, the quartz is resistant to acids and antibacterial. This material has also obtained the important certifications DIN (Europe), ASTM (USA), ISO 9001 / 14.000 and NSF.
