A single block of Calacatta, hollowed until it became a bath: grey veins run along its flanks while the steam rises to meet the silver beam of the moon, framed by the round skylight. Around it, split-face stone walls hold the darkness and a brass tap stands guard, the one blade of warm light. Two walls of honey onyx, lit from within, become lanterns of stone: light passes through them and kindles their clouds of amber. From the brass rain head the water falls through that glow, and every drop turns to gold before it touches the dark stone floor.
