Interior cladding — a Michelessi vision
The Quiet of Stone, Rising Vertical
Light enters at a raking angle through the great window and glides along a procession of tall panels in pale stone, following one another like the wings of a silent stage. The camera moves slowly down the corridor: each vertical slab catches the daylight and returns it in shades of soft grey, while the stone floor, laid in regular courses, carries the eye toward the vanishing point. This is architecture made of rhythm and breath, where matter becomes the measure of space. In this image, which opens the gallery of our work, you will find the essence of marble and stone working as Michelessi understands it: full-height surfaces, joints as fine as a pencil line, the artisan care that has accompanied every bespoke project since 1976. Italian craftsmanship reveals itself precisely here, in the discretion of the details: no excess, only proportion, light and matter in conversation. If you imagine cladding of this purity for your own spaces, our technicians can turn the idea into a three-dimensional design, even before it becomes stone.
