The Loft of Smoked Glass, a Kitchen as Theatre

The black slatted ceiling covers the scene like the canopy of a theatre, and the kitchen plays the lead: oak tall units house the oven, black shelves cross the pale marble-effect wall, and the great smoked-glass cabinets, lit from within, display glasses and bottles like a precious collection. The black table in the foreground, the leather sofa, the white teapot, the pale herringbone floor: every element joins an atmosphere at once sophisticated and welcoming. The Grip Carved in Oak, the Volo Door Up Close

The camera draws close enough to turn detail into landscape: in the pale oak door, the grip is carved directly into the panel, a horizontal recess with a clean profile that welcomes the fingers and replaces the handle. Above, the veined grey stone-effect top closes the frame; behind, the window dissolves into brightness. This is the technical heart of the Volo door: a single element with space carved out for a secure grip, offering the ergonomics of the groove while keeping the naturalness of a hollow in wood. Observe the precision of the milling, the cleanliness of the inner corners, the grain running on uninterrupted: work of this kind demands exact machines and hands that govern them. It is the quality Michelessi requires everywhere: custom marble working taught us that carving into matter is the most delicate of arts, because it admits no second thoughts. Steel Burners and Oak Shelves

The gas hob spreads its black grates over steel, set flush in a dark, slender top: above, the stone-effect upstand rises toward the hood integrated in the anthracite cabinet, while to the right an oak shelf on a black frame carries glasses and green bottles before powder-blue tiles. Below, pale wood base units with framed doors and black handles root the scene in artisanal warmth. Notice the blade of light running beneath the hood: illuminating the hob is a necessity that becomes atmosphere.
