Project vision: living room at dusk with a linear open fire set into a graphite wall, the split-face stone brushed by warm light and glass walls open to the evening

Since 1976 — a Michelessi vision

Fire,
dressed in marble

Bespoke marble fireplaces and heating systems: surrounds, fireplace walls and fireboxes born in our workshop in Aprilia, Italy.

The fireplace — a Michelessi vision

One single block,
and fire within

01 The travertine monolith at the centre of the room: on its face, only a golden mark.

02 The stone is carved inside the mark: the hearth opens and the bronze frame slides in flush, among travertine chips.

03 The fire catches among the logs: its reflection runs across the polished floor towards us.

Fire — a Michelessi vision

The flame
lights the marble

01 The room sleeps in the dark: the Nero Marquina wall holds a single line of fire.

02 The camera moves closer: the veining opens like a mirror and the brass frame catches the light.

03 Inside the hearth: the logs burn on the embers, against the fluted bronze back.

Vision 01 — From our drawing board

A wall of night, a horizon of fire

NERO MARQUINA · HORIZONTAL FIRE · BRASS PROFILE

Design vision: full-height Nero Marquina marble wall with a recessed horizontal firebox edged in brass, the flame reflected on the dark stone floor

An entire wall of Nero Marquina, black as night and crossed by white lightning; at its heart, a brass-edged aperture where the fire runs horizontal, long and low like a sunset. The flame is the only light in the room: it climbs the veining, glides across the honed floor, warms the stone bench. This is a vision from our drawing board: the fireplace no longer an object set against the wall, but the horizon of the room.

Vision 02 — From our drawing board

The floating hearth above the water of stone

ROMAN TRAVERTINE · BRASS RING · POLISHED BLACK MARBLE

Design vision: round Roman travertine fireplace suspended from the ceiling by a cylindrical stone flue, its flame mirrored upside down in the polished black marble floor

A drum of Roman travertine suspended in the void, hung from its cylindrical stone flue by a single ring of brass: within it, the fire burns as if held in an open hand. Below, the polished black marble floor is still water, returning the flame upside down: the fire is seen twice. This is a project from our tables: to free the hearth from the wall and let it float at the centre of the home.

Marble fireplaces

Where flame meets
stone, home is born

There is a moment, in every home, when fire ceases to be a mere system and becomes architecture: it is the moment the flame meets the marble. Since 1976, in our Aprilia workshop, we have crafted bespoke marble fireplaces for those who wish to add elegance to warmth: classic surrounds carved like small works of architecture, fireplace walls in Roman Navona travertine, in Carrara marble, in Grigio Billiemi or in polished wengè, cantilevered mantels, bases and platforms that give fire its stage. Every project is born of tailored marble craftsmanship and of the Italian artisan tradition Michelessi has cultivated for generations: we know how to set split-face natural stone against the glass of great windows, the rough block against the clean line of a gas fire, the rustic register against the most rigorously contemporary design.

Whatever you ask of us, we will make it — even the faithful reproduction of a fireplace glimpsed in a photograph. And before the first slab is laid, thanks to three-dimensional computer modelling, we show you the final result already applied to your own room: the fireplace of your dreams is no longer an idea, but a visible project. On this page you will find a collection of our works and of the marbles that made them possible — from Thala to Kaesar Brown, from Basaltino to Brown Night — together with the heating systems that bring every surround to life: monoblocs, thermo-fireplaces, fireboxes, pellet inserts, gas, electric and bioethanol fires. Come and visit us: together we will choose the marble fireplace solution best suited to you.

Classic fireplace with white Thala marble surround, linear base, upper mantel shelf and carved detailing

Thala marble

Classic Frame, a Mantel in Thala Marble

Against a slate-grey backdrop, almost theatrical, the Classic Frame surround in Thala marble emerges like a sculpture of light. The camera draws close and captures the details that make the difference: the linear base resting on the floor with classical calm, the fluted uprights rising towards the upper shelf, the carved frieze running beneath the mantel like embroidery in stone. At the centre, the fire: a living flame that warms the white of the marble and sets it shimmering with amber reflections. Nearby, a powder-blue sofa and an abandoned throw tell of the everyday life this fireplace is destined to embrace. This is the classical repertoire reinterpreted through the sensibility of Michelessi: since 1976, our bespoke marble work has given form to fireplace surrounds that pass through fashions without ever growing old. Every moulding is the fruit of authentic artisan skill, executed with the care of those who have known the material for generations. If you dream of a classical surround for your hearth, we can create it and show you a preview in your own room: come and choose it with us.

Circular corner fireplace with grey hood and walls clad in grey stone strips

Grey stone

Circular Geometry for the Fireside Corner

There is a corner of the house where every line curves inward and gathers around the flame. The circular corner fireplace presents itself as a suspended cylinder: the great grey hood descends softly over the curved-glass firebox, while the pale base widens into a round platform edged with a stone top in warm tones. Behind, walls clad in grey stone strips weave a textured backdrop that catches the raking light; further on, a low bookcase and a red armchair complete the domestic scene. The fire, sheltered behind glass, dances at the exact centre of the composition. Solutions such as this reveal how a fireplace can become the pivot around which an entire living room turns. At Michelessi we pair bespoke marble craftsmanship with a study of the space itself: through three-dimensional modelling we show you in advance how your fireplace will inhabit the room, before the first stone is ever laid. It is design made in Italy, where the drawing board meets the workshop: come and discover the shape of fire best suited to your home.

Modern fireplace with marble base on a wooden deck, log column and corner glass firebox

Marble and wood

A Wooden Deck, Fire on a Marble Base

A raised deck of wooden boards crosses the room like a domestic jetty, and upon it the scene composes itself: the snow-white long-pile rug, the woven chaise longue with its white cushion, the low table with candles burning. At the far end, the white volume of the fireplace: the corner firebox opens on two sides behind glass, resting on a marble base with a clean profile, while beside it a column of stacked logs turns firewood into ornament, awaiting its moment. Light filters through sheer curtains and softens every surface; the fire, across the room, answers with its warm glow. It is a dialogue between materials — wood, marble, fibre, flame — that we at Michelessi know intimately: our bespoke marble work is born precisely to settle naturally into rooms already rich in matter. With the experience of generations and faithful three-dimensional previews, we can design the base, the surround or the entire fireplace together with you, so that the fire finds its exact place in your home.

Corner fireplace with wengè marble base and top vent beside a floating-step staircase

Wengè marble

Corner Wengè, Fire Beneath the Floating Stairs

The flame blazes full behind the corner glass, its orange light reflected on the herringbone wooden floor. The Corner Wengè fireplace builds the warmest corner of the house: the panoramic firebox rests on a base of wengè marble, dark and deep as petrified wood, while the discreet upper ventilation grille lets the warmth spread through the room. All around, the scene is a small tale of architecture: floating steps climbing the leather-toned wall, a white orchid on the side table, a black-and-white photograph leaning against the wall. Every element seems to gravitate towards the fire, which remains the true protagonist. In compositions like this one recognises the hand of those who work stone with respect: at Michelessi, bespoke marble craftsmanship means choosing the right material for every project, from intense wengè to the palest marbles, each piece handcrafted in Italy, with the possibility of seeing the result in a three-dimensional preview of your own room. If you too imagine a fireside corner of your own, come and speak with us.

Fireplace set into a natural stone strip wall with Kaesar Brown marble base and sides, rustic interior

Kaesar Brown marble

Split-Face Stone and Kaesar Brown Marble

We are in the heart of a real home, among exposed beams, a wooden staircase and the ticking of a kitchen clock. Here the fire is no ornament: it is the centre of domestic life. The fireplace is built into a wall clad with strips of natural stone in golden, sandy tones, and is distinguished by its base and sides in Kaesar Brown marble: a dense brown stone that wraps the glass firebox like a surround at once austere and warm. On the shelf stretching to one side sit small everyday objects, a little plant, a fragment of stone: the signs of a house that is lived in. The flame, tall and generous, bathes everything in honey-coloured light. This is the rustic register that Michelessi interprets through bespoke marble work: from modern to traditional, we adapt materials and proportions to the character of your home, with the down-to-earth solidity of our workshop. And before we build, we show you the design applied to your own space in a three-dimensional reconstruction: so the fireplace of your dreams is no longer an idea, but a project you can already see.

Elegant living room with polished wengè marble wall and integrated fireplace with black firebox

Polished wengè marble

The Polished Wengè Marble Wall

The crystal-sphere chandelier kindles a thousand reflections, and beneath it the room unfolds in a symphony of ivory, gold and grey. At the centre, like a column of precious matter, rises the wall of polished wengè marble: its horizontal veins run tight and compact, striated like fossil wood, and the mirror polish multiplies their depth. In the heart of the wall opens the integrated fireplace with its black firebox, a clean, rigorous cut in which the flame finds its stage. Around it, armchairs and sofas face one another in perfect symmetry, the leather ottoman bears books and flowers, the lamps cast the glow of a grand salon. It is classical elegance meeting the strength of stone. At Michelessi we create bespoke marble walls and fireplace claddings, choosing with you the material, the direction of the veining, the degree of polish: marble work as tailoring, carried out with the patience of true Italian craftsmanship. And with a three-dimensional preview you can see your wall of fire before the first slab is ever cut.

Grigio Billiemi marble partition wall with firebrick hearth in a modern living space

Grigio Billiemi

Grigio Billiemi, Marble That Divides and Welcomes

A wall of Grigio Billiemi marble crosses the room from floor to ceiling, its white veins streaming like lightning arrested in stone. It is a partition wall, yet it does more than divide: it welcomes. Within its thickness opens the firebrick hearth, where a wood fire burns, simple and true, casting orange light across the dark matter all around. The rest of the room listens in silence: the great black table with its wooden bowl, the low white bed, the totemic sculpture keeping watch in the corner, the red wooden floor warming the scene. Spotlights glide across the marble and reveal its restless grain, never the same twice. This is the power of natural marble: every slab is unique, and choosing it is already half the project. At Michelessi we guide that choice with bespoke marble work and the knowledge handed down through our workshop, composing fireplace walls that become the centre of gravity of the home. If you long for a stone that tells your story, come and see it with us: we will find it together, vein by vein.

Corner fireplace with basaltino marble top and white stone strip wall with log niches

Basaltino marble

Corner Basaltino on White Stone

Here the fire lives alongside everyday life: the television, the open compartments, the cut firewood filling the niches like a mosaic of pale circles. The corner fireplace opens on two sides beneath the great white hood, suspended like a pure volume; the surface that carries it is a top in basaltino marble, grey and richly textured, extending into a long, orderly bench that binds together hearth, storage and seating. Behind, the wall of white stone strips vibrates with small horizontal shadows and reflects the daylight entering through the window, beside cylindrical vases with metallic glints. This is a project that considers the whole house, not just the flame. And it is the way of working we prefer at Michelessi: bespoke marble craftsmanship as a tool for designing fitted walls, benches and surfaces that revolve around the fireplace, with the solidity of work made in Italy. Tell us how you live in your living room: we will design the right solution with you and show it to you in a three-dimensional preview, applied to your very own space.

Horizontal gas fireplace built into a marble strip wall with recessed television

Marble strips

The Horizontal Line of the Gas Flame

A long line of fire crosses the wall, horizontal and unbroken like a horizon at sunset. It is the gas fireplace integrated into a wall clad with marble strips, slender courses of pale stone rising to the ceiling and forming the backdrop for the recessed television, perfectly aligned above the flame. The room breathes a luminous calm: white sofas, grey armchairs, the bench at the centre, great glass doors opening onto the patio and letting in the green. Every line is taut, every surface measured, and the gas fire — clean, steady, without ash — obeys this order with a flame that is always the same and always alive. It is modernity that refuses to give up warmth. At Michelessi we design bespoke marble claddings for fireplaces of every technology, composing the strips, the cuts and the finishes around the needs of your system and your space. The working of marble meets the discipline of the workshop, and the three-dimensional preview shows you the result before installation: so your wall of fire is born already perfect, without surprises.

Project vision: roman Navona travertine wall with double-sided fireplace in a penthouse with floor-to-ceiling windows

Navona travertine — a Michelessi vision

Travertino Navona, Double-Sided Fire on the Sky

On the upper floors of the city, where windows frame the skyscrapers like paintings, a wall of Roman Navona travertine rises at the centre of the penthouse and becomes architecture. Its pale surface, with its warm, even grain, holds the double-sided fireplace with shelf: the fire burns in the heart of the stone and lets itself be watched from both sides, shared between rooms like a domestic lantern. Around it, the deep blue of curtains and cushions converses with the white of the sofas, the wave-patterned rug leads the eye towards the transparent coffee table, and daylight rebounds between glass and travertine. It is a scene of metropolitan elegance built upon an ancient stone, the very stone of Rome's monuments. At Michelessi we know travertine as one knows an old friend: our bespoke marble work cuts it, pairs it and finishes it with pieces handcrafted in Italy, for fireplace walls that unite memory and modernity. And with three-dimensional modelling you can see your double-sided wall already set within your own space, before any work begins. Come and imagine it with us.

Bespoke fireplace in Brown Night marble with bullnose profile in a contemporary grey-walled living room

Brown Night marble

Bespoke in Brown Night Marble

Against the grey wall, trowelled like a sky before the rain, the fireplace surround stands out crisp and luminous. It is a piece made to measure in Brown Night marble, with a bullnose edge — the rounded profile beloved of stone artisans — softening every corner: the shelf projects with elegance, the uprights step down towards the base, and the hearth platform stretches out to receive the glow of the flame. Within, the fire burns full and paints the room amber; beside it, the steel fireside companion set awaits the next log. Beyond, the white sofa, the dark rug and the window open onto an autumn landscape complete a contemporary room unafraid of tradition. This fireplace tells our trade well: at Michelessi, every surround is born from bespoke marble work, drawn to the proportions of your room and finished by the patient hand of our craftsmen. Together we will choose the marble, the profile, the finish; and with the three-dimensional preview you will see the result in your own home before we even begin.

Corner fireplace with brick firebox and sharp-edged Navona travertine shelf

Navona travertine

A Fireside Corner with Travertine Shelf

Evening has already entered the room, and the only light that matters is the light of the fire. In the corner, the fireplace gathers the family around its brick-lined firebox with its reddish glow, protected by a hinged door of polished metal. Below, the Navona travertine shelf runs cantilevered with its sharp, clean edge: a crisp plane of pale stone drawing a line through the shadow of the room, extending along the wall like a bench. The white sofa, plump with cushions, faces the gridded window where the garden fades into dusk; the Greek-key rug and the dark coffee table complete a sitting room made for the slow hours. It is the right measure between rustic and contemporary, the one every home seeks for its own fireside corner. At Michelessi we find it together with you: bespoke marble and travertine work lets us shape shelves, surfaces and claddings to the character of your space, with the solid, unshowy skill of Italian craftsmanship and a three-dimensional preview that shows you everything in advance. Your corner of warmth is waiting.

Horizontal fireplace with a broad surround of rough marble blocks in a warm timber-beamed interior

Rough-hewn marble

Rough Marble Blocks for the Great Fire

Beneath a ceiling of interwoven beams, in the golden light of an old inn, the fire runs horizontal inside a dark band, like a modern brazier set into the raw material. Framing it, a broad surface of rough marble blocks: stones with irregular faces that hold the light in their hollows and give it back in flashes, rugged and precious at once. Above, the great brown panel forms the backdrop; at the sides, white openings hint at the house continuing beyond — the kitchen, the dining room with its wooden chairs. Two brick-red leather poufs wait before the flame, and a column lamp keeps watch like a torch. It is the allure of contrast: stone left almost as it came from the quarry, beside the clean line of a horizontal fire. At Michelessi we love both souls of marble, the rough and the honed: our bespoke work chooses for each project the finish that belongs to it, with the freedom of the artisan's hand. Bring us your idea of warmth, even just a picture: we will turn it into stone, and show it to you first in a faithful three-dimensional preview.

Wall fireplace with polished Carrara marble slab front and herringbone-lined firebox

Carrara marble

Polished Carrara, Herringbone Fire

In an apartment sitting room of powder and grey, among velvet armchairs and a gilded coffee table gathering the light, the fireplace wall rises like a blade of white marble. It is a slab of polished Carrara marble: grey veins cross it on the diagonal, soft and restless, and the mirror surface reflects the black chandelier stretching its arms across the ceiling. At its base opens the firebox, lined inside in herringbone: a small, knowing pattern that turns even the fire chamber into a signature detail. Tall windows bring the city sky indoors; cushions, an orchid, paintings on the walls complete an effortless elegance. Carrara marble is the Italian stone par excellence, and treating it well is a responsibility: at Michelessi, bespoke marble work selects the slab, follows its veining and brings it to a polish worthy of the finest things made in Italy. If you dream of a fireplace wall in Carrara, come and choose your slab: with the three-dimensional preview you will see it already in place, in your own room.

Raw grey stone industrial wall with recessed fireplace and long cantilevered marble shelf

Marble and grey stone

Industrial Grey Stone, a Floating Marble Shelf

The wall is a manifesto of industrial architecture: grey stone left raw, with its shadows, its imperfections, its honesty. Within its thickness opens the firebox, a dark cut where the logs await the flame; and below, running the full width of the scene, a long cantilevered marble shelf, pale and slender, that seems to float above the floor. It is the poetic coup de grâce: honed marble softening the raw grey stone, a horizontal line bringing order to brute matter. Before the industrial window, an orange armchair ignites the room like a second flame; the dark vase with its branches of berries brings a sign of nature into the rigour. This balance between hardness and warmth is territory we at Michelessi explore with relish: bespoke marble work allows us to create cantilevered shelves, surfaces and seats that converse with any architecture, even the most severe, with a craftsman's precision. Tell us the character of your space: we will design the stone it is missing, and show it to you in a three-dimensional preview before we make it.

Modern fireplace with rounded marble surround on a white Carrara CD marble wall

Carrara CD

The Rounded Mantel on Carrara CD

The room lives on calibrated contrasts: the dark plank floor, the grey long-pile rug, the pale wall that holds the fire. At the centre, the modern fireplace with its marble surround of rounded profiles, mounted on a wall of white Carrara CD marble: the pale stone forms a silent backdrop, the surround embraces the firebox with soft curves, and behind the glass the flame rises tall among the logs, framed like a great glowing screen. Beside it, the steel fireside set and a white bowl of pure line; further on, the pale armchair faces the window where the landscape fades into evening. Every element is in its place, and the fire is the heart that holds it all together. Carrara CD, with its white touched by grey veining, is one of the most beloved stones of the Italian tradition: at Michelessi we shape it to measure for fireplace walls and surrounds, uniting marble work handcrafted in Italy with the possibility of seeing the project in a three-dimensional preview, applied to your own room. The fireplace of your dreams can begin here.

Fireplace with integrated steel edge set into twin blocks of light veined marble

Veined marble

Twin Veined Marble Blocks, a Steel Edge

Two great slabs of veined marble face each other like the pages of a book of stone, and where they meet, the fire opens. The fireplace with integrated steel edge is an exercise in precision: the metal frame cuts through the material with a thin, industrial line, while all around the marble tells its natural story — a dark vein crossing the slab on the diagonal, golden ramifications surfacing like roots, the pale ground gathering the light. Behind, a wall of stone in regular courses provides an ordered counterpoint; a lit lamp at the edge of the scene adds a domestic halo. The flame, alive among the logs, mirrors itself in the steel and warms the white of the marble. It is the detail that reveals the design: joining two blocks, letting the vein run, integrating metal without wounding the stone. Work like this demands mastery, and mastery is our home: at Michelessi, bespoke marble work unites precision cutting with the patience of the artisan, and the three-dimensional preview shows you every choice before it is made real. Come and compose your own block of fire.

Large wall-recessed gas fireplace with steel frame and integrated television in the living room

Gas fire

The Great Gas Fire in a Steel Frame

The flame runs almost the full width of the wall: a row of tongues of fire dancing behind the long mouth of the gas fireplace, recessed into the wall within a steel frame of cool reflections. Above, perfectly aligned, the integrated television disappears into the pale wall; at either side, two tall sculptural vases with worked surfaces raise their plants like vegetal torches, lit by a bluish glow that duels with the orange of the flame. Before them, sofas in mélange fabric and damask-patterned cushions compose an enveloping sitting room, made for watching the fire as one watches a landscape. It is the scenography of contemporary warmth: no ash, no waiting, only the full flame at the right moment. At Michelessi we design the stone envelope these systems deserve: bespoke marble work clads walls, frames and surfaces around the gas fire, with the finesse of Italian craftsmanship and the certainty of a three-dimensional preview showing the project already applied to your living room. If your ideal fireplace is a great horizon of fire, come and draw it with us.

A promise stands out that is also our history: since 1976, all the warmth of our experience. In the opening image, a firebox suspended beneath a great dark hood burns at the centre of an exposed-brick living room, between a teal sofa and bentwood chairs: an invitation to imagine fire within your own home. Prefabricated 75 cm firebrick open hearth with dark pyramid hood, heating systems

Wood-burning firebox

The 75 cm Firebrick Hearth

This is fire in its most ancient and honest form: an open chamber, brick, a hood rising above. The 75-centimetre firebrick hearth shows itself here in its essential structure: the combustion chamber lined course upon course with pale refractory brick in warm terracotta tones, the fire bed of neatly laid bricks, the chain and ring for managing the draught, and the great dark pyramid hood that gathers the smoke and carries it upward. No glass, no screen: the flame crackling free, the scent of wood, the direct warmth that only an open hearth can give. It is the element upon which generations of homes have built their evenings. Beyond the surround, at Michelessi we think of your hearth as well: this is one of the many hearts of fire you can choose on our dedicated portal, to be dressed afterwards in a bespoke marble surround, made in the tradition of the finest stoneworking. Technique within, beauty without: let our experts help you compose the complete fireplace, from the refractory brick to the last vein of marble.

Horus Fuoco 80 stainless steel bioethanol burner, linear built-in element for fireplaces

Bioethanol

Horus, the Built-In Bioethanol Burner

It looks like an ingot of light: a long, slender blade of satin stainless steel, with the central slot from which the flame will be born. It is the Horus Fuoco 80 bioethanol burner, the hidden soul of the flueless fireplace: set into a surface, a wall or a marble surround, it gives a true fire, alive and dancing, without smoke and without ash, free to be lit wherever the house desires. The carefully finished metal surface reflects the light like a soft mirror; the symbols engraved beside the slot discreetly recall the rules of safety. This is technology that serves the design, not the other way round. And that is why at Michelessi we offer it among the heating systems of our dedicated portal: because bioethanol converses magnificently with bespoke marble work, allowing theatrical fires even where a flue could never reach. Imagine it set into a marble slab chosen with us, in the taste of pieces handcrafted in Italy: the flame at the centre, the stone all around. Our experts are at your disposal to design it together.

1800 W built-in electric fireplace with ventilation grille and ember-effect logs, heating

Electric fireplace

The 1800 W Built-In Electric Fireplace

One gesture, and the fire appears. The 1800-watt built-in electric fireplace holds all the comfort of modern warmth within a compact black body: behind the gently curved glass, ember-effect logs glow with an amber light that imitates the breathing of a flame, while the upper grille spreads the fan-driven warmth through the room. No wood to stack, no ash to sweep, no flue to build: only a power socket and the desire for atmosphere. The metal structure, with its side handles, is made for recessing: it vanishes into the wall or the surround, leaving only the window of fire in view. It is the ideal solution for apartment living, or for a second point of warmth without building work. Beyond the surround, at Michelessi we think of the hearth as well: the electric fireplace is one of the many solutions on our portal dedicated to heating systems, ready to be wed to a bespoke marble surround from our workshop. Choose the atmosphere, and leave the rest to us: our experts will guide you through the choice.

Carinci System 250 R wood-burning thermo-fireplace with hydraulic kit, copper piping and manifolds

Thermo-fireplace

Carinci System 250 R Thermo-Fireplace

Here, the fire works. The Carinci System 250 R thermo-fireplace, shown complete with its hydraulic kit, is a small powerhouse of warmth disguised as a fireplace: behind the wide glass the wood burns generously, but around the combustion chamber runs a system that does far more than heat the room. Copper pipes rise gleaming towards the metal tank, red manifolds direct the flows, pumps and a plate heat exchanger complete a system ready to carry warmth wherever the house requires it. It is intelligence applied to flame: the wood crackling before you becomes energy for the entire home. The dark, solid structure rests on adjustable feet and displays its mechanics with pride, like an engine laid bare. Beyond the surround, at Michelessi we think of the hearth as well: the thermo-fireplace is among the most complete solutions on our portal dedicated to heating systems, and it becomes magnificent when dressed in a bespoke marble surround, shaped by Italian craftsmanship. Let our experts help you: together we will choose the right power, and the stone that will tell its story.

La Nordica Comfort P70 black pellet insert with control display, heating systems

Pellet insert

La Nordica Comfort P70 Pellet Insert

Within a black shell, essential as a monolith, burns a flame that governs itself. The La Nordica Comfort P70 pellet insert is fire for the age of convenience: the combustion chamber lights up behind the glass with that intense, concentrated glow that only pellet can give, while the digital control panel, with its small blue screen, allows ignition, power and temperature to be adjusted without ever opening the door. On its side, the ducts and air mechanics reveal the technical care at work behind the scenes. Designed for recessing, the insert transforms an old fireplace or a new niche into an efficient, programmable point of warmth, with the quiet autonomy of pellet fuel. It is the solution for those who want fire every evening, without a second thought. Beyond the surround, at Michelessi we think of the hearth as well: you will find the pellet insert among the many offerings on our portal dedicated to heating systems, ready to be paired with a bespoke marble surround, drawn and finished with the touch of the finest stoneworking. Tell us how you live in your home: our experts will find the right insert.

MCZ Forma 115 gas firebox with decorative logs and black steel structure, heating systems

Gas fireplace

MCZ Forma 115 Gas Fireplace

A great horizontal screen waiting to come alight: so appears the MCZ Forma 115 gas fireplace, its wide dark chamber where decorative logs lie composed upon their mineral bed, ready to be wrapped in flame at the first command. The black steel structure, essential and rigorous, rests on adjustable legs that ease its built-in installation; on the side, the control unit and connections reveal the technological nature of this firebox, where every flame is governed with precision. Gas grants what wood cannot promise: instant ignition, a constant fire, no ash, and that long horizontal mouth which has become the signature of the contemporary fireplace. Once walled in and dressed, nothing of this machinery will remain but the wonder of the flame. Beyond the surround, at Michelessi we think of the hearth as well: the gas fireplace is among the solutions on our portal dedicated to heating systems, and it is the ideal companion to our bespoke marble walls, where stone shaped by Italian craftsmanship frames the line of the fire. Come and design yours: our experts will guide you.

Piazzetta MA 264 SL wood-burning firebox in black steel with lined interior and flue outlet, heating

Monobloc

Piazzetta MA 264 SL Firebox

It is the noble skeleton of the modern fireplace: the Piazzetta MA 264 SL firebox, a body of black steel built to be walled in and disappear, leaving the whole stage to the flame. The wide horizontal opening reveals the combustion chamber lined with pale material, arranged in regular vertical ribs like a small inner architecture; above, the flue outlet with its damper governs the draught, while the front panel bears the maker's name, the guarantee of a specialised tradition. Everything in this rigorous volume is conceived for efficiency and safety: the firebox encloses the wood fire in a complete, proven structure, ready to be set into the wall and finished to the taste of the home. And this is where our trade comes into play: beyond the surround, at Michelessi we think of the hearth as well, and the firebox is among the solutions on our portal dedicated to heating systems. Around this technical heart we can build a bespoke marble surround, modelled by our craftsmen on your own idea of warmth. Choose it with our experts: the dress of stone we will design together.
