Island and hood are born of a single gesture of Calacatta marble, folded as though the stone were cloth; brass fillets run along the edges, and the illuminated plinth lifts it from the floor like a work in a museum hall. It is the boldest of the visions of our design studio: a concept model showing how far the drawing can reach, even before function. The kitchens of the years to come are seen from here.

That is the promise behind the Michelessi kitchen models, modular solutions for every need and every budget: affordable, well-made kitchens for those who want to spend wisely and make the most of every centimetre, or tailor-made kitchens of fine cabinet-making, ready to satisfy every whim. On this page we present the four characters of the collection: Domina, Noè, Era 02 and Volo 01.

Domina has a smooth or linear framed door, a modern aesthetic that is easy to compose and a wide range of finishes, from melamine to matt anti-fingerprint UV lacquer. Noè brings solid oak or ash into the kitchen, with a framed door of industrial spirit and a built-in grip that does away with the handle. Era 02 chooses the essential: smooth door and metal handle, in lead or steel finish, with decisive tones that lend character. Volo 01, minimal and elegant, carves into the door the space for a secure grip, handle-free, with sober finishes and consistently competitive prices.

Around the models, everything can be personalised: the structure, the doors, the worktops selected through a careful choice of materials — from Fenix to Dekton — because the worktop is the most used element of the kitchen. Our designers draw every centimetre of the project with you, with a three-dimensional rendering, a free quotation and professional installation. Modular kitchens: questions and answers

What is the difference between a modular kitchen and a bespoke kitchen?

A modular kitchen starts from catalogue units, Domina, Noè, Era 02 and Volo 01, which we combine and adapt to your space; a bespoke kitchen is designed from scratch, with marble worktops and islands cut to the real dimensions in our Aprilia workshop. The two paths meet: a modular model with a stone top shaped by us.

Which finishes are available for the doors?

Flat or framed doors, with a groove or a handle, or handleless with the grip carved into the door; finishes in smooth or open-pore melamine, glossy or anti-fingerprint matt UV lacquer, solid oak or ash.

Can I have a marble worktop on a modular kitchen?

Yes: the worktop can be marble, quartzite, granite, Dekton, Laminam or Fenix, and it is shaped in our workshop with the sink, edges and joints made to a high standard.

Can I see the kitchen before it is built?

Yes: every project comes with a 3D preview showing the finished kitchen before cutting, and slabs are chosen in person in our workshop in Aprilia, on the Via Pontina.

Do you also install the kitchen?

Yes: design, free quote and professional installation by our own team. The project starts from a floor plan or the measurements of the room, and every centimetre is drawn together with our designers.

The Domina model

Domina, the door
with a double personality

You are in the world of Domina. The door can be smooth, made of a single panel, or linear framed: a double personality that makes the kitchen more modern or more classic without changing model. With the smooth door, opening is entrusted to the metal groove, offered in four finishes, which — unlike the other models — attaches to the structure of the kitchen rather than to the door itself; with the framed door comes the handle, in open-pore melamine.

The finishes range from melamine, the most affordable choice, smooth matt or open-pore wood-effect, to UV lacquer, glossy or matt «super matt», anti-fingerprint and highly resistant. The front is 22 millimetres thick, in chipboard or MDF, with a straight edge on all four sides. Domina model — a Michelessi vision

A Pale Finish Like the Sky at First Light

Sometimes a fragment of matter is enough to tell an entire project. This pale finish sample, crossed by a subtle clouding that recalls freshly laid plaster, belongs to the range with which the Domina model by Michelessi dresses itself in light. Before the doors, before the finishes, there is structure: this white open module, with its single central shelf, is the elementary cell from which every Domina modular kitchen by Michelessi is born. The Noè model

Noè, solid wood
with an industrial spirit

With Noè you invest in your kitchen intelligently: you spend a little more to gain far more. The first step is the materials: the framed door has a frame in solid oak or open-pore lacquered ash, 22 millimetres thick, and a panel in MDF veneered in natural oak or open-pore lacquered ash. A guarantee of solidity and endurance.

The handle is spared: built into the frame of the door is a groove for handle-free opening, square in profile, which lends character to the entire collection — though those who wish may still add the handle they prefer. Delightful, too, is the contrast between the veneered base doors and the glass-fronted wall units: everyone can personalise their own kitchen, in a linear, industrial style.

Noè model
