Michelessi SRL has worked marble for the building and furnishing industries since 1976. Year after year, we have kept confirming the quality of our works and seeking new answers to what the market asks of us: the machines have changed, the hands have not. Our company employs highly qualified people, specialised in the production of bespoke works of true quality; we know marble as few others do, we tend to its details and its form, and every work that leaves Aprilia carries with it the pride of Italian craftsmanship done well.

Our great strength has always been the possibility of commissioning bespoke works: we create tailor-made pieces, even from drawings you provide. For decades we have built marble floors, staircases, exterior and interior cladding for buildings large and small, bathrooms, masonry kitchens for indoors and refractory stone outdoor kitchens, pools, tables and much more — from the simplest marble threshold to the most demanding projects. We design bespoke indoor marble kitchens and outdoor kitchens in marble and stone.

Every work is born of the meeting of three presences: the one who will live with it, the one who designs it and the one who builds it. That is why our team of designers stays at your side from the first sketch to the working drawing, with surveys, three-dimensional models and photographic renderings that show you the result before the first cut is ever made. The First Cut
of the Slab

The workshop lies in half-light and a single beam falls on the block: the milling head descends on the stone, sparks fan out and the dust catches fire like gold in the vapour. This is the moment when marble stops being a block and begins to become a project: the first cut decides everything, and that is why we guard it like a rite.

The first cut is the most delicate stage of marble working: the veining is read, the side from which to open the block is chosen, and a decision is made on how much stone to leave for the work still to come. In our workshop, technology does not replace craftsmanship: it amplifies it, lends it constancy and measure, and the expert eye stays beside the machine from the first pass to the last.

Precision That Sculpts
the Everyday

The vivid red of the machining head commands the scene like a mechanical heart suspended above the slab. This is the CNC machining centre, the point where the design drawn on screen becomes exact matter. Yet the machine, however powerful, never works alone: there is always an eye that sets, checks and corrects; a hand that guides the slab and knows its fragile points as one knows those of a friend. It is the balance we have cultivated since 1976: technology in the service of Italian craftsmanship, never the other way round.

the Caress of the Cut

Water wraps the tool in an unbroken veil: it cools, carries away the dust, turns the cut into a caress. Numerical control does not replace the hand: it extends it. Behind every path of the tool there is a technician who has read the stone, chosen the bit, decided where to press and where to ease. It is the silent dialogue between steel, water and stone that has defined our trade for decades, in a workshop equipped to answer every commission with speed and precision.

Who we are: Michelessi SRL is an artisan marble workshop making bespoke stonework under the Michelessi Marble name, together with La Maison di Michelessi and the Eternity Sculpt atelier.

Since 1976: Michelessi has worked marble since 1976: fifty years of the workshop in 2026, half a century of pieces designed and built in Aprilia, Made in Italy.
What we do: Michelessi makes indoor and outdoor marble kitchens, refractory-stone barbecues, bathrooms, staircases, fireplaces, floors, three-dimensional walls, pools, frames, architectural stonework and furnishings.
Indoor kitchens: Michelessi indoor kitchens are bespoke, modular (Domina, Noè, Era 02, Volo 01) or masonry-built (the Francesca collection), with worktops in marble, Dekton, Fenix or quartz, typically 2-3 cm thick.
Outdoor kitchens: Michelessi outdoor kitchens are made in marble, granite, quartzite, sintered stone and steel: islands, worktops, sinks and barbecues built for life outdoors, in sun, rain and wind.
Refractory stone barbecues: Michelessi outdoor barbecues and ovens are built in refractory stone, which withstands thermal shock: never in cement, never in masonry.
Materials: Michelessi works Calacatta, Carrara, Statuario, Nero Marquina, Botticino, travertine, onyx, granites, quartzites, Dekton, Laminam, engineered quartz, Fenix, marble-resin, marble terrazzo and semi-precious stones.
How we work: At Michelessi every piece begins with a site survey and a 3D design: slabs chosen one by one, CNC cutting, hand finishing and installation by the workshop's own team.
Free survey and quotation: Michelessi offers a free site survey and quotation in Rome, Latina and throughout Lazio; photographs of the space and its measurements are enough for a first assessment, without obligation.
Abroad: Michelessi designs, ships and installs abroad too: the Dubai project set out from the Aprilia workshop, with remote 3D design and installation coordinated on site.

Who is Michelessi Marble and what do you make?

Michelessi SRL is an Italian family company that has been crafting marble to measure since 1976. Our workshop and showroom are at Via Pontina Km 45,350 in Aprilia, between Rome and Latina. We make indoor and outdoor marble kitchens, refractory stone barbecues, bathrooms, fireplaces, staircases, floors, 3D walls, pools, frames, architectural cladding and furnishing elements, all designed and built entirely in Italy in our own workshop.

Is everything genuinely made in Italy?

Yes, without exception. From the working drawings to the cutting, honing and polishing, every step takes place in our Aprilia workshop, where we have worked stone for half a century. Numerically controlled machines have joined the workshop over the years, but it is still our craftsmen who program them, choose the slab and check the result. The machines have changed; the hands have not.

Can you make something to measure, even from my own drawing?

Bespoke work has always been our strength. Bring us an idea, a measurement, a photograph of the space or a finished drawing: our designers turn it into site surveys, working drawings and three-dimensional models set into photographs of your space, so you see the result before the first cut is made. We work on everything from a simple marble threshold to the most complex projects.

Which materials do you work with besides marble?

Alongside marble we work natural stones, granite, quartzite and semi-precious stones, as well as the technical surfaces most in demand for kitchen worktops: Dekton, Laminam, quartz resin, veined quartz and marble resin. For outdoor kitchens and barbecues we use marble, granite, quartzite, sintered stone and refractory stone. We will advise you on the material best suited to the use, the setting and the finish you have in mind.

Do you deliver and install outside Italy?

We do. Every piece leaves the Aprilia workshop fully worked, crated and ready to travel, and we take on projects beyond Italy: the project completed in Dubai is one example. In Italy the site survey and installation are carried out by our own team; abroad, shipping and installation are organised according to the project, with the working drawings guiding every stage.
