The basin is an inverted pyramid with wide slopes: four inclined planes of pink-beige marble, crossed by warm veins flowing like currents beneath the surface, converge towards the centre in a geometry that recalls a stylised corolla. The top that carries it is a sand-coloured slab traced with a fine, regular ribbing — a mineral fabric that shimmers under raking light; at the centre, the rose-stone base lifts the whole composition from the ground and gives it poise. Everything in this washbasin plays on the horizontal: the lines stretch out, the volumes float one upon another, and the eye glides from one material to the next without meeting an obstacle. It is an equilibrium born in the design and fulfilled in the bespoke marble work: calibrated thicknesses, invisible supports, finishes that answer one another.
