How it works, in three steps
1. Show us the space
A photograph of the garden, the terrace or the poolside, the measurements of the space available and what you want to cook outdoors: over embers, in a wood-fired oven, on gas burners, with a sink alongside. In Lazio we come and see the space ourselves, free of charge, and check the water, gas and electricity connections.
2. 3D design and quotation
We draw the island in your setting and show it to you in three dimensions: shape, height, worktop material, the position of the barbecue and the oven. On that drawing we prepare the written quotation, item by item, with times agreed with you. No cost up to this point.
3. Building and fitting
The stones are chosen at the Aprilia workshop: granite and quartzite for the greatest resistance, marble for those who want veining outdoors too, sintered stone for the cooking area, stainless steel for the technical parts. Barbecues and ovens are made of refractory stone, which holds the heat and lasts; worktops are usually 2 or 3 centimetres thick, with edges finished by hand. In Italy the fitting is done by our own team, with installation scheduled at a time that suits you; abroad we deliver and install, as we did for our project in Dubai.
What we need for the quotation
- Measurements of the area, even sketched by hand, and the distance from the house.
- Photographs of the space and its surroundings: paving, walls, pergola, pool.
- The connections available or to be brought in: water, drainage, gas, electricity.
- What it must contain: wood, charcoal or gas barbecue, oven, sink, worktop, refrigerator, closed compartments.

Does marble stand up outdoors?
Yes, with the right finish and protection. For worktops most exposed to sun and embers we often recommend granite, quartzite or sintered stone, which resist stains and sudden changes in temperature; marble remains the choice for sides and cladding, or for those who want veining outdoors too. We decide together on the drawing.
What are the barbecue and the oven made of?
Refractory stone, clad in natural or sintered stone: refractory stone holds the heat, withstands direct flame and lasts. The barbecue can be wood, charcoal or gas fired, the oven wood fired or electric; you choose them on the drawing.
Can you fit the kitchen outside Lazio or abroad?
Yes. In Italy the fitting is done by our own team; abroad we deliver and install to the drawing, as we did in Dubai. Outside Lazio the project starts from the measurements and photographs you send us.
